AARON GROUP back at the university

On Tuesday, 21 April the team programming competition called “UnIT” designed for IT students was held in the National Technical Library at the Czech Technical University (CTU) campus in Dejvice. We are pleased that we had the possibility to support young talents and became one of the main partners of this project, which is organized by the student organization BEST Prague.

UnIT (combination of the words “University” and “IT”) is a unique project which occurs rarely at Czech universities. Its aim is to connect the information technology students with business partners directly on the CTU area. Competitors are divided into teams of four people and within eight hours they must solve a given problem in practice. They have the opportunity to apply their knowledge and involve logical thinking, but furthermore they can visit information booths and familiarize themselves with potential employers in the meantime.

The project UnIT has entered its first year in the Czech Republic and we prepared, among other things, an interesting workshop for its participants. At our stand the contestants could test whether they would be able to “hack” the school system and change their marks in it. Most students managed the task easily and for the fastest there were prepared attractive prizes.

Being part of this competition was useful experience for us and we would like to thank the organisers for great event coordination. We also owe our gratitude to the colleagues who properly represented AARON GROUP.
